  26. Answer: yes.  The PAR drivers for NT v.3.5 are located at
  27. ftp.dps-inc.com, I think.  The catch:  the drivers available now are
  28. "unsupported" by DPS, meaning they are effectively beta test drivers.
  29. I have used the beta drivers (only game in town if using NT), and there
  30. are some nasty bugs in them (the main one that comes to mind is the
  31. occasional erased playlist, in which the PAR interface refuses to
  32. recognize a valid .ani file.  I've lost a couple of animations that
  33. way.)  However, I don't mean to scare you off.  
  34.  
  35. (1) I have been able to
  36. use the beta drivers by not rendering to the PAR after having run the
  37. PAR "Virtual VTR" interface.  If I need to check the size of an
  38. animation on the PAR drive while rendering, I use File Manager.  If I
  39. run the Virtual VTR interface, I then do a warm reboot of my system
  40. before performing any write-to-disk operations on the PAR drive.  It's a
  41. bitch, but it has worked ok for me.
  42.  
  43. (2) According to the latest info from DPS, final, _supported_ drivers
  44. for the PAR under NT 3.5 will supposedly be available in April (though
  45. last month they were saying Feb.)
